CITY has changed a lot since we created it back in Zagórz. Although we had most of the pieces of the song ready and repeated it with every rehearsal before coming to the studio, we felt we miss something. After we recorded the song, we listened to it the next day and came to conclusion, that it's not the right feeling in the song.

At that moment our sound engineer Ignacy from Monochrom Studio encouraged us to re-open some parts of the groove and re-write them again, in the studio, live, while recording (!). First, skeptical that we could come up with fresh ideas for the song that we had played for so long already, we decided to give it a try. We did what we knew the best – improvised and let the emotion flow.

We had Ignacy talking to us in our headphones, while we improvised with eyes closed. He would give us guidance on the evolution of the song. It was letting ourselves go, but having something like inner voice helping us to open, explore and take the song we knew very well in a new direction. That was an amazing experience!
